I'm delighted you dropped in for a visit. I know your time is valuable - I appreciate you giving me a few minutes of it.

I've been writing novels for about six or seven years but fairly recently - about 3 years ago - I started to take it seriously. I formally educated myself to the craft and realized I had so much to learn! I finally got my first novel published in 2014. Since then, I've had two additional novels published and all are available on Amazon.

​

I'm also a professional songwriter/composer and musician - guitar. One day a few years ago it suddenly dawned on me that many songs, particularly in the Country and Folk genres, were actually a novel in a hundred or fewer words. So, I started expanding 75 words into 75,000 words!

​

I write primarily in three genres - Humorous Detective, Mystery and Action-Thriller. I also dabble in a couple of other genres, but nothing published. I have varied interests!

​

Most of my novels are 65,000 to 80,000 words, or 250 - 280 paperback pages. I try to write novels that are clever but without overly complex plots. I want my readers to have a smooth, enjoyable read that entertains them with a solid plot and interesting characters. I see them as an alternative to the sophisticated, deep, multi-layered stories than many people enjoy. It's simply a matter of preference. My novels can be read in three or four sessions. I've been told they're good companions on a long flight.
